Production and supply of animal forage
On average, 553.5 thousand tonnes of fodder production was produced in 2018, by 22.0 percent or 99.7 thousand tonnes increase compared to previous year.
Compared with the previous year, natural hay produced 1229.4 thousand tons, 221.3 thousand tons or 21.9 percent, 10.6 thousand tons of straw, 2.1 thousand tons or 24.7 percent, and 1.6 thousand tons of prepared molybdenum, 2.8 thousand tons or 73.7 percent, 94.5 thousand tons of mineral feed was increased by 16.6 thousand tons or 21.3 percent respectively. The volume of handmade fodder was 51.7 thousand tons, which was 0.6 thousand tons or 1.1 percent lower than the previous year.

Unproper moratlity rate
In the first 9 months of 2019, 23.7 million (79.6%) of 29.8 million female breeding stocks gave a birth at the end of 2018. 84.4% of females, 76.7% of goats, 72.5% of females, 69.1% of mules and 41.7% of camels gave a birth.
Out of total 96.8 percent or 23.0 million births. In the same period of the previous year, the growth rate was 4.1 (21.9%).
In the first nine months of 2019, the non-poignant mortality rate decreased by 1.5 (65.9%) to 755.8 thousand at national level in the first 9 months of 2019.
According to the types, the number of goats is 348.6 thousand, sheep 316.8 thousand, cattle 50.3 thousand, horses 39.1 thousand and camels 1.0 thousand head.
From the total dead livestock 46.1 percent of goat, and 41.9 percent of the sheep.
At national level, livestock mortality decreased by 2.6 (6.1%) to 39.4 thousand at the end of the first 9 months of 2019.

Accessibility of fences and wells
In total, 222.5 thousand fences with size of 76.7 million livestock have been counted in 2018.
19.1 percent or 42.5 thousand of the total enumerated fences are heating units with a capacity of 8.2 million animals, 55.2 percent or 122.9 thousand with a 46.1 million livestock shelters, 25.7 percent or 57.2 thousand with 22.4 million animals with fence enclosures. 10.4% or 23.2 thousand of the total fence is a fence with a capacity of 4.0 million animals.
According to the 2018 census, 48.4 thousand wells and 629 water basins were used for drinking and drinking water. 39.4 percent or 19.1 thousand of the wells were well engineered.
38.8 percent or 18.8 thousand wells are located in pasture.
