Become a member

  1. GENERAL CLAUSE
    1.  This bylaw aims to regulate the membership, membership type, membership registration, and membership tax affairs of the Mongolian National Federation of Pasture User Groups (henceforth known as “the Federation”).
  2. MEMBER
    1.  Members will be: citizens, domestic or foreign companies with investments in the country, organizations, partnerships, colleagues, and Pasture User Groups who have voluntarily agreed to be bound by the bylaws and rules of the Federation.
    2.  Any citizen, legal entity, organization, partnership or Pasture User Group who pays their taxes to the Federation will be deemed to be a Federation Member. Those who pay taxes to Federation branches will be deemed to be Federation Branch Member.
  3. TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
    Individual citizens, legal entities and organizations who are registering for the first time as members may choose their type of membership from the following classifications:
    • Honorary membership
    • Full membership
    • Support membership
    1.  Honorary members may be: domestic and foreign legal entities; organizations; or citizens who have made significant contributions towards achieving the goals of the Federation. Honorary members are not required to pay membership taxes.
    2. The full membership tax is set at 1 million tugriks, for the following groups:
      1. Members from the Federation of Aimag Pasture Users (branch federation);
      2. Cooperative members;
      3. Members who are citizens (herders, colleagues, members of Pasture User Groups, other groups or partnerships), business legal entities (cooperatives or farmers), local organizations, or foreign organizations.
    3. The supporting membership tax is set at 200,000 tugriks.
  4. MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
    1. Members will fill out membership forms. Forms may be downloaded from the Federation website.
    2. Members shall pay an annual membership fee, into the following account:
      • Account number: 5027728932.
      • HAAN bank (Agriculture Bank).
      • Account owner: National Federation of Pasture Users Groups
    3. Members will submit the necessary registration application, supporting documents, and bank slip showing their membership payment to the Branch Federation Association.
    4. A membership certificate will be issued by the Board of Directors of the Federation.
    5. Any membership registration or membership issues will be directed to the executive office of the Federation.
    6. The duration of membership will commence from the date the membership certificate is issued. According to the Federation bylaw and duties of the members, members must pay a membership fee annually.
    7. Members will receive a service table from the Federation according to his/her/its membership classification, and should check the services received from time to time.
    8.  As a member of the Federation, each member shall actively participate in the Federation's activities.
    9.  Any suggestions, ideas and complaints for the Federation and related governmental organizations must be submitted in writing.

By becoming a member of the Federation, one is entitled to the following advantages

  • Be the first to receive the latest Mongolian pasture usage information and participate in pasture usage activities.
  • Include information of one’s own organization and activities in the membership cyber catalogue (reference library) at www.greenmongolia.mn
  • Avail of good relations through local branches of the Mongolian National Federation of Pasture Users Groups in 21 aimags, cooperatives, soum associations, and partnerships around the country.
  • Benefit from NFPUG's foreign partnerships and be covered in various programs and projects.
  • Receive the latest business news, bulletins, magazines, online news, etc., from the MNFPUG.
  • Access proposals and discounts periodically received by the MNFPUG.
  • Have one’s products and services, business proposals, and other promotions advertised through the MNFPUG website and the Federation’s Facebook page.
  • May use MNFPUG membership logo on one’s website, headers, and business cards.
  • May cooperate with other organizations to solve shared problems, by attending branch meetings of the Federation.
  • May hire domestic and foreign experts in the areas of pasture management, livestock health, livestock breeding and marketing of agricultural products.

All members are entitled to receive following services at a discount or free of charge.

BENEFITS AND REWARDS TO THE MEMBERS

  • The Federation will nominate members who have made significant contributions towards the Federation's goals for National and Governmental medals and prizes. The requirements for the nomination for Government prizes and medals will be decided by a Board of Directors' meeting.
  • The Federation will issue prizes and rewards to those members who have made real and significant contributions to the Federation’s work and goals of developing pasture management, herders and herders' organizations.  The requirements and types of Federation prizes and rewards will be decided by Board of Director's meeting.
