The donation was handed over to Mr. Tsolmon.S, the head of the Uvs province's agricultural department, Mr. Tsedenish.L, the governor of Khovd province's Durgun soum, and Mr. Bat-amgalan.L, aimag citizen Khural member of Zavkhan province. On behalf of all herders, we hereby express our sincere gratitude to you.
A South Korean company named Terre De Cashmere, which translates to "The Homeland of cashmere," embodies the stunning Mongolian landscape in the design of its cashmere garments. While travelling in Mongolia for the first time in 2016, the company founders fell in love with its beautiful nature, and experienced the premium quality of Mongolian cashmere. “Gamgak” cashmere knitwear company was then established in 2017, in where its products are all made by 100% Mongolian cashmere with reflection of South Korean fashion design . In order to deeply show Mongolia's beauty, the company changed its name to Terre De Cashmere in 2023, and this is the first season in which they exhibited Spring/Summer 2023 collection under the new brand name. The reason for donation to the Mongolian herders was that they wanted to protect the adorable young animals that are suffering from the cold temperature. Mongolia is facing with the coldest winter this year comparing to last few years. The future plan of the brand is to introduce Mongolian cashmere not only in Korea, but also across the world, and to become a sustainable, environmentally friendly brand.
On behalf of all herders, we hereby express our sincere gratitude to you.
