MNFPUG Shows Effort at COP16 in Saudi Arabia

Exhibition on the Responsible Nomads Code of Practice for Sustainable Development

The 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 2 to December 13, 2024. The delegation from the Mongolian National Federation of Pasture User Groups (MNFPUG) includes Executive Director D. Burmaa, Director of the Rangeland Research and Development Program D. Bulgamaa, and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist J. Tserendolgor.

 

At this conference, the Mongolian National Federation of Pasture User Groups (MNFPUG) is participaing in the "Green Zone" exhibition, promoting and showcasing products made from raw materials prepared by herders who have implemented the “Responsible Nomads” code of practice for sustainable development standard. These products, which feature a "traceable and transparent" system of origin, have reached representatives from Saudi Arabia and the international community. The participating companies include Hunnu Fashion LLC, Snow Fields LLC, Jinst Moron LLC, Monpellets LLC, Tod Oims LLC, Enaru Biomedical LLC, and Khaadiin Ger LLC. These companies are large national organizations that export their products internationally.
