The Mongolian National Federation of Pasture User Groups organized an online training on "Importance of Animal Number Taxation Law in livestock breeding and pasture management." The training provided information on the rational use of the Animal Number Taxation Law and the Local Development Fund to organize the sustainable use of rangelands with herders' participation, based on the ecological capacity and resilience of rangeland.
It also provided knowledge and skills on rangeland conditions, quality changes and current carrying capacity, monitoring process, timely detection, prevention, adjustment of use, herding techniques, and financial resources. AFED will conduct independent training for their aimag Citizen Representative Hural (CRH) representatives, Soum Governor's specialists, Bagh governors, herders, herder groups, and associations by participating in the training.
