The "All Members Meeting" of Green Gold Finance SCC was organized at the headquarters of the Mongolian national federation of Pasture user groups / March 18, 2021 /. Participants participated in the plenary session, both online and offline, and discussed six main issues. Specifically, Green Gold Finance SCC's annual report for 2020, the Supervisory Board report oversaw the report, dividends, allocation of assets, re-election of members of the Board of Directors, amendments to the charter's approval 2021 action plan, and budget.

On March 16, 2021, the government, herders, herder cooperatives, pasture users, wool and cashmere manufacturers, and project implementers met to create the activities of stakeholders in the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable cashmere production.

In the scope of Pasture Management and Climate Change Adaptation Component, a total of 144 herder groups (PHG) has been organized; agreed on a three-year rangeland management plan by an inclusive integrated approach, and series of training on rangeland management and risk management for herders and government officers and specialist of soum level are provided.

Through the Green Gold-Livestock Health Project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the distinct qualities of Mongolia’s nomadic livestock products have been digitally certified. The measure is aimed to improve the competitiveness of the products in foreign and domestic markets by enhancing the processing of livestock commodities. 

Some methodological recommendations are given by livestock breeding consultant Ch. Arildii on the training “Effects of the grazing taxes on livestock husbandry and grassland management practice” organized by National Federation of Pasture Users Groups of Herders.

owever, with overgrazing and the deterioration of rangelands, this ecosystem is now in danger. In the long run, severe degradation of rangelands can lead to a drastic reduction of income both for herders and for Mongolia, as Agriculture including herding is the 2nd pillar of the national economy.
