Leading the development of an action plan for activities related to celebrating the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists as the Secretary-General

In Mongolia, there are two national networks for monitoring and assessing the condition of rangelands. One of these networks, operated by the NAHEM and the ALACAG, monitors and evaluates rangeland ecosystem activities and their changes at the regional and national levels. The photo-monitoring network, under the Ministry of Land Management, monitors and evaluates the impact of rangeland use, including its effects.

Side event was collaboration with Ministry of Food, agriculture and light industry and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Sharing experiences on the contribution of multi-stakeholder participation in organizing rangeland management based on local communities.

Participation in the sectoral session on organizing rangeland management with the involvement of local communities and enhancing rangeland restoration capacity.

The technical Committee of Textile Standardization (ISO/TC 38/WG 33) is beginning the creation of international standard on Animal welfare in supply chain– Product specification for the production, preparation, labeling and traceability of cashmere from beginning of 2024.
